My Dream Universe

If I could live in any fictional universe, it would be the show Stranger Things. I would want to live in this universe because I like the style of the 80’s and it would be fun to hang out with the main characters throughout their adventures. The style of the 80’s is an era I would like to experience because it seems very fun and free. There was no social media and it was all about just hanging out with friends. This sounds very intriguing, especially hanging out with the characters in the show. They go to all sorts of places throughout the city, Hawkins. Although the show revolves around horror, the rest of the show gives a good insight of what it was like in the time the story takes place and how there was a lot of entertaining adventures that the characters went on. I would love to be apart of one of these because I enjoy adventures with a little bit of risk. For instance, an exciting journey the characters took was when they went to the star court mall to go and chat with one of the characters about the main conflict. Overall, I would love to be apart of the Stranger Things fictional universe because I love the setting, vibe, and the adventures.

Rad Reading-September

For this month, I read the book Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell. The book is about a mother who not only loses her child, but also loses her life. Her glamorous child has magically disappeared and it causes the mother to ruin her relationship with her family. After getting the closure she needed, she finally buries all those feelings about Ellie Macks disappearance. She ends up meeting her “dream” guy and his perfect daughter. This new boyfriends turns things around for and gives her a fresh start. She then starts to make things right with her family. As everything is going perfect, she starts questioning what really happened to her kid, Ellie Mack. Was this new boyfriend of hers really who he says he is? Has the truth been right in front of her all along?

I absolutely loved this book! The book shows many perspectives of the characters and makes the reader think about what’s going to happen as they’re reading. It’s really fun to try to solve a mystery using context clues hidden throughout the book. The author did a great job at adding many twists and jaw dropping moments that leave the reader astonished.

After reading the book, my favorite character was Poppy. Poppy was one of my favorites because of her maturity. Throughout the book, Poppy was very sophisticated and it also seemed as she was an adult at times. She was a smart kid and I admire her a lot. Poppy has went through a lot in one lifetime, and to be able to reach maturity at such a young age, shows a lot. “ ‘Because he was a very good dad. He really was. He didn’t need to feel guilty. He didn’t need to die,’ “ page 351.

My favorite line from the book was page 313, “A man who can’t love but desperately needs to be loved is a dangerous thing indeed.” I love this quote because it has a deep true meaning. It displays how a person can’t expect to receive love if they can’t give it. If someone can’t get that love they desirably want, then that can causes issues for themselves or others.

My Favorite Meal

The thought of my favorite meal makes my mouth water! If you were to ask me what my favorite meal is, I will simply say chilaquiles. I usually have this exact dish for my birthday every morning. The spicy red sauce that is dripped over the crunchy cooked homemade tortilla chips. Also accompanied with creamy white and yellow scrambled eggs with a dash of salt and pepper. Once you bite into it, you instantly get a mix of crunchy chips, red salsa, and soft eggs to overpower the crunch. What makes this dish even better is, my mom’s delicious chocolate milkshake. I usually don’t like things that are flavored chocolate, but this shake is over the top! It’s combined with cinnamon, milk, chocolate powder, bananas, ice cream, and ice. When you blend it all together, you get a smooth thick chocolate milkshake. It perfectly balances the spicy chilaquiles. For dessert, I love to have ice cream. Not just any ice cream, but Baskin Robin’s cotton candy. It’s so flavorful and creamy. All together, my favorite meal is chilaquiles with a chocolate milkshake and cotton candy ice cream!

My Dream Home

My dream home would be a large estate on a private hill. My house will be a nice simple exterior while the interior will have a setting of the beach. The exterior would be fabulous. It would have large off-white pillars in the front door, with bushes under the windows. Windows would be covered with huge neutral curtains. The front door will be white with an outline of black. The outer walls would be a classic beige color with a stone like texture. Red rose bushes would also surround the house. The roof would be a plain white. It will have an extra four car garage to the side of the home. The drive way would round the front of the house and have brick stones as the texture. Smack in the middle will be a huge fountain with crystal clear water running down. When you walk into the house, you will be greeted by lovely flourished plants hanging from the ceilings and pots of flowers on a table near by. Pictures of art drawn beaches cover the empty walls. The kitchen will be a white a clean marble and the dinning table will be glass with a chandler hanging down. Near by will be a neat off-white and beige living room, including a pinch of green plants. As white sofa with beige pillows, as well as a white fur carpet. I’d have a modern tv with big speakers. The home will have 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, along with a third floor for a cinema. The bedrooms will most likely have the same beach look. The master bedroom will be decorated in blue and grey, while the other bedrooms will be simply decorated with pink, white, gray, and green. Each bedroom with its own individual color. The bathrooms will be decorated with beach colors and features that are found in the beach. Also each with a marble bath and shower. The third floor will be a nice red and black movie theater with a projector playing DVD movies. Also accommodated with a delicious snack table. Going back to the first floor, a hallway to the right of the corner kitchen will be a relaxing gaming room. Full of new technology. To the left of the living room, there will be a hallway that leads to a simple storage room. In the middle of the kitchen and living room, a long glass sliding door will lead to the backyard. As you walk outside, you will instantly see the fake green turf grass around the large pool. The walkways around the yard will be gray and white step stones. Then there’s the pool with a stone edge and a clear white textured plaster bottom. There will be a hot tub and a thickly gray plastered slide that looks like a huge rock, as well as a waterfall tipping over the rocky edge. To the right of the house there will be a path way to a lounge area including nice twinkly lights. To the left of the backyard will have a simple area with the newest items for future dogs. To conclude this detailed dream home, if I could truly create my own home, this layout will come first to mind.

My Dream Travel Destination

If I could travel anywhere on Earth, I would travel to the country, Mexico. I would most desirably want to visit Mexico because of its beautiful beaches, my family is there, and their unique culture. Mexico is known for their beautiful beaches. I have never been to one of their famous beaches, but my mom has told me all about it. She’s been to Puerto Vallarta. She told me about the soft sand, the calm water, and the sunsets that come along with it. I’m not really into the splashing waves and the sand stuck to your feet, but the thought of sitting in a lounge chair while hot air whistles by sounds so relaxing. I find it a stress free vacation. I actually heard about a famous beach called the Cancun. The Cancun seems so fun! I’ve read about how there’s fancy restaurants and 5 star resorts. I’d spend my daily sunsets sitting at the beach. Not only beaches, but my family lives there as well. When I say family, I mean family I have no connection with. Cousins I’ve never met, aunts and uncles I never knew existed. I definitely won’t be able to communicate with them because I have no experience in speaking Spanish. I might describe it as a negative experience, but I would find it fun to meet people I’m related to. I could see what it’s like to live in another country and spend everyday walking down the streets of Mexico. The most exciting thing I find about Mexico is the culture. The numerous diverse candies, the well known street food, and the cool holidays. Whenever this one aunt sends candies in the mail, they always taste so good! She buys big packs of candies that last a whole month and candies you’ll never find in the US. What’s even better than the candies, are the street tacos. Everyone knows that tacos originated in Mexico, so the food over there always tastes it’s finest. There’s all types of different tacos, like cow tongue, carnitas, and chorizo. The holidays too seem so joyful and much more different than the ones I’m used to. Holidays such as Dias de los Muertos and Cinco de Mayo. Those holidays are so big, people outside of Mexico celebrate them. I’d love to see how everyone comes together to celebrate them. Mexico has outrageous beaches, unique culture, and my family’s there. My dream destination out of everywhere in the world would always have to be Mexico.

All About Me

Hello, my name Bibiana. Welcome to my blog. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a middle child of a family of 5. My mom, my dad, and my two chaotic siblings. My older sister, Mia, is one of the most talented kids in the family. Her skills and abilities in soccer is what pushes me to accomplish what she easily accomplishes. She’s been to Mexico, Virginia, Arizona and many other cities. On the other hand, my younger brother, Freddy, basically runs my life. Whenever he wants something from me, I have to automatically respond to him. He whines and cries until he gets what he wants. He’s an adorable gremlin. Although I might describe my family as the most aggravating and pestering people, I still genuinely love them. I am also in the seventh grade. Most people envy school, I would most likely agree if i was still in the fifth grade, but ever since I joined middle school, it’s been different. I’m apart of this soccer academy that’s connected to the school, which basically changed my life academically. The academy allows my schedule to be stress free. I only have 5 classes currently and the soccer academy also allows me to improve my soccer abilities. Not only do I benefit in school, I also was able to get on one of the top girls soccer clubs in the country. I’ve been playing soccer ever since I was two. Soccer has always been one of my passions, but three years ago, I quit soccer. It was a time of my life where I didn’t have the same thrive as when I was two. After taking a little break, I decided to get back into it and I began to work even harder. I was stronger and my passion was twice as strong. That’s when I enrolled in the soccer academy I previously mentioned. A few other cool facts about me is that I actually have my own car. It might seem like a lie or an exaggeration, but I do indeed have my own 1964 convertible impala. It’s not just any modern car, it’s a classic car that I have had ever since I was born. My dad invests in these cars and gives each of his kids a car to have when they get older. For instance, my sister has a 1954 bel air, and my one year old brother has a 1962 hardtop impala. Some people think my dad is crazy for even giving such cars to kids underage, but we actually learn the value of things. Have you ever been asked the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” It might be a quick and simple answer that you’ve embedded in your head ever since you were young, but to me, it’s quite undecided. I remember wanting to be a baker just like my dad. He has his own bakery and the job seemed so thrilling to me. Then there’s soccer, I’d like to be apart of the professional league. As an over thinker, there’s many issues and conflicts I think about when choosing these options as my career. It’s not as easy as people may think it is. To conclude this extremely long all about me writing, I’m just a young kid who loves and hates her family, has a passion for soccer, loves cars, and still has no idea what to do with her life.
